As shown in Fig. 6-17, it has a cast iron base 1 and a peeling cylinder 5 with rough inner surface. The rotating shaft 3 drives the rotating disc 4 to rotate, and the surface of the rotating disc is corrugated. The motor 10 on the cast iron base 1 drives the rotating shaft 3 through the big gear 2 and the pinion 9. The material enters the machine from feed hopper 6. When the material falls on the corrugated surface of the rotating disc, it is thrown around due to the action of centrifugal force and rubs with the rough inner surface of the cylinder wall, so as to achieve the purpose of peeling. The water is sent into the cylinder through nozzle 7, and the wiped skin is washed away from the sewage outlet with water. The peeled materials are discharged from the discharge port regularly by using their own centrifugal force.
During feeding and discharging, the motor is running. Therefore, before unloading, water injection must be stopped to avoid water splashing from the hatch after the hatch is opened.
The working principle of the alkali peeling machine is to first corrode the skin of the treated fruit and vegetable raw materials with hot dilute alkali, and then rinse with water or peel off the skin with mechanical friction.
The design of alkali liquor peeling machine has a wide application range and is suitable for peeling peach, apricot, pear, apple, tomato, potato, sweet potato and other fruit and vegetable raw materials.
According to the water consumption, it can be divided into wet peeling and dry peeling.
